Facebook announced recently that they will be moving away from the FBML language and jumping into the more sophisticated IFrame technology. What this means to you is the way you design your Facebook pages. The bad news is that you will have to adjust and adapt, but everything that I'm hearing suggests that this new Reveal Splash is very cool and will be even better for internet marketers and small business owners. Phil Benham & Daniel Tan have recently introduced Facebook Maxed which is designed to help the internet marketer fully leverage this new Facebook IFrame technology.
Daniel Tan is a huge name in internet marketing with a variety of successful products in his portfolio including; SEO Business Box, SEO Pressor and Backlink Syndications System. Phil Benham is also a successful internet marketer and owner of Houston based Local Dominate.
Their recent introduction of Facebook Maxed underscores their understanding of the increasing significance of social marketing within the internet marketing community. The bottom line is that this new IFrame system will now allow internet marketers to set up a complete website type space on Facebook. The Reveal Splash interface will allow you to include video with lead capture capabilities. Things like background color can be easily altered. A very intriguing feature allows you to present a specific format to people who "like" your site and a different configuration to everyone else. As an internet marketer this is phenomenal because you can now show favoritism and give your "like" crowd more goodies and targeted content that can serve as a marketing ploy to win over others.
In addition, FTP programs, text editor functions and HTML5 capabilities have been included in the new technology. HTML5 means that everything is now fully mobile compatible. The major complaints with the new IFrame interface is that you now need to pay for hosting, but hosting is very inexpensive. You will also need an HTML editor and FTP programs, but they can found for free if you snoop around a little.Facebook Maxed in a training program designed to help you understand, implement and exploit the new IFrame technology that Facebook is embracing. Among other things it will show you how to set up Fan Pages under the new IFrame format. Early users say that Facebook Maxed is well designed and easy to use. The training walks you through what you need to know and what you need to do and then goes about showing you how to accomplish them. The only potential weakness in the training is that it does not discuss Facebook paid ads and how to capture paid traffic.
The latest news out of Google suggests that they are increasing relying on "social coding" to rank websites. That means that if you think that all these social networks are just a fad, then think again because you're going to get lost in the dust. If you want to rank or continue ranking on Google, then you need to be into social marketing and that's where Facebook Maxed can really help you. It can get you up to speed with all the recent Facebook changes and end up making you look good in the process. It can be purchased for a one-time $47.
