'Teen Mom 2' returns for second season Dec. 6

Santa's coming early this year, reality fans, and he's dropping more than liquid eyeliner and self-tanning lotion in your stockings.

That's right: "Teen Mom 2" is back!

MTV's second "16 and Pregnant" spinoff ? starring Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry ? is returning with a second season Dec. 6, the network announced today.

So what have the fab foursome been up to?

Chelsea still hasn't graduated from high school, and her best friend and roommate, Megan Nelson, gave birth to her own baby, son Hunter, this summer at age 19. So much for the reality show's teen pregnancy prevention campaign.

Jenelle, Jenelle, Jenelle. Where to begin? Unlike her bad-boy ex Kieffer Delp, the troubled teen mom has so far managed to avoid jail despite a series of legal problems (including brawling and drug charges), but her mother, Barbara, still has custody of son Jayce.

Leah divorced hubby Corey Simms after just six months of marriage and a spectacular camouflage-themed wedding (showcased in last season's "Teen Mom 2" finale). The parents of twin girls did celebrate some good news this year: doctors told the couple that their daughter Alianna, although she is developing more slowly than her sister Aleeah, should eventually be able to walk.

'16 and Pregnant' mom checks into rehab

Kailyn, "Teen Mom's" Energizer Bunny, is going to school (that's college, Chelsea) full-time while juggling two jobs and, of course, motherhood.
