Having gone to the website you referenced for Ancestry 2012 version 21.0.0.529 I am confused. I'm running an Intel core i7-2600K @3.4 GHz with 778GB free space and running 8GB RAM with Windows 7 Professional (64 bit).

I'm confused why I would add Microsoft WSE 3.0 when Microsoft says: "Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Professional Edition , Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2003, Enterprise x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition, Windows XP, Windows XP 64-bit, Windows XP Home Edition , Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2". It does not even list Windows 7?????
