Question by Jezz7: How can I start off teaching english?
If I don?t have a great level? My vocabulary is not too strong and the only thing I am excellent at is easy english grammar (let?s say until 8 many years old) What certificate do i want to start working? I am friendly and communicative.I haven?t read a lot of books (like english or american literature, poems etc) or american background, british history and so on. Can anyone inform me what are ppl normally seeking into a teacher ,apart great character, and what kind of information I should have and what is not actually important?
thank you

I teach English to Adults as a second language but I am not certain what you need to have to teach 8 year olds. Probably a degree. (For more assistance go to talent.ac.uk ? lots of teachers to advice you).
Meanwhile, look for an following-college club where you can devote an hour or two teaching or Saturday mornings. This will give you some expertise. There are lots of people who commence teaching and then get the qualifications later.
Secondly, if you are in the UK, you would want a CRB ? it is like a personal check carried out on you to make sure that you are okay to educate youngsters. (which I?m sure you can) Just the formalities of teaching.
Very best wishes
